Greg not to be overlooked is IBM's confidence in AAPL

The Seybold demo will be notable in that AAPL will be showcasing a IBM technology first , but more importantly on a AAPL product even before IBM gets to show it :

" ... the chips will not actually be released until late this year, IBM researchers have said in the past that copper chips yield higher performance and lower power.

The first copper PowerPC chips from IBM will be used in its AIX-based servers, sources said. "

IBM built a PowerBook model for AAPL in Japan but this involvement is more encompassing and a display of IBM's support for AAPL's Mac (non-AIX) marketplace .

It hints of AAPL copper chips yielding higher performance while using less power , ideal for use in smaller Mac devices .

Its a stretch but IBM choose S. Jobs to demo IBM's most important new technology to the world .
