George,

Some good questions. Hopefully Ken or someone at BCB is now
monitoring this thread as Ken indicated he would, and we will
get the answers.

George,

Re: the rights offering in Alberta and Ontario - BCB elected to
file for residents in both these provinces because of a combination
of regulatory measures and shareholder concentration. It would
never be in the best interests of the co. to restrict the offering to
an area that was so limited that subscriptions would not be forthcoming. I'm sorry you were in an area that was not eligible but
that wasn't a standard concern.

Your observations about the revenue growth vs burn rate growth are
completely valid. One early indication of light at the end of the tunnel
is that gross profit margin has increased from 35.4% to 47.8% in the first quarter this year. At the Annual Meeting next Wednesday, shareholders will meet the new CFO, Doug McIntyre, who can give
a candid account of how margins are improving and what measures
have been taken to control costs.

This is off topic, but another participant in this thread has asked why
the thread has never heard from me until recently - I was abstaining from participating in the SI in general (although I've always been a subscriber and have sent private responses) because I saw so many instances where companies were burned (sometimes rightly) because they used their own IR people to communicate on the thread. I've just started on this one because there
seems to be a number of investors who are understandably frustrated and want information.

If anyone on the SI wants any questions raised at the AGM, please indicate on this thread or e-mail me privately and I'll ask them for you

Flora
