When did Timothy Cook leave?
I assume you are saying Cook's leaving was the problem..
not Cook.

During posts in late January early February I stated
how important procurement was to CPQ. I was reassured
CPQ has excellent procurement team. Has something changed?

I haven't seen anyone in the press or elsewhere point out that Timothy Cook had only been at Compaq since July 18. I don't think we can blame Compaq's troubles on him. Perhaps he jumped ship because he walked in on a situation he realized he wasn't going to be able to fix.
