Excellent analysis..

I agree mostly with you, the're have been too many warnings about shortfalls in profits at really BIG players.

Computer stock investing is really tough.

Take care
Jean

Addi. I didn't mean to critizice you for my action. The reason why
I sold my shares was because I happened to agree with you at the time
of the sales. I am not so sure about now, since the techs are
holding pretty well after some earning warnings by INTC, MOT, CPQ last
week. I am just not sure what to do now with all the cash I have.
I would like to invest but am afraid to get burned. But if tech
is going to establish new highs, I don't want to miss the boat either.
So I am trying to find some undervalue stocks to put some money in
now. But I haven't been successful.

Someone recommend Y2K stocks, I just wasn't really comfortable with
that. I mean I could invest in RMS Titanic, it went from 38 cents
to $2 after the movie Titanic came out. But what if Titanicmania
died down in 6 months, 1 year, what will happen to RMS Titanic?
That's the same problem I see with Y2K stocks.

Addi it sure looks like your Asia call is right on. I'll nominate you for a analyst position if the techs sell of in the next few days. I know you hate them but it sure looks like you know a lot more than them :-).

Oracle Beats Wall Street Estimates

Asia-Pacific sales, however, plummeted 12 percent. The company blamed weak Asian currencies. "Without the impact of currency exchange, worldwide revenue growth would have been 33 percent," Oracle said.

Asia strikes Nat Semi

Analysts said National's third quarter results would be the first real indicator of how American hardware manufacturers would do following the economic turmoil and extreme currency fluctuations in Asia.

The question is now what will the bulls do ignore this or will the bears take over. What will all these analyst have to say now.
Addi, if you are correct and Sun nose dives in the coming weeks I think I'll have to send you a six pack of Canadian beer just for the hell of it. Either way your investment advice is very good.
