Mr Frank Donis reports
Epic Resources (BC) and Safari International Resources have agreed to merge,
subject to receipt of shareholder, court and regulatory approval and final fairness
opinion. Under the terms of the agreement, Epic and Safari will, by way of
statutory plan of arrangement, amalgamate to form a new company, Epic
Resources Ltd, whereby each holder of Epic shares will be entitled to one share
of Epic Resources for every one Epic share and each holder of Safari shares will
be entitled to 0.90 shares of Epic Resources for every one Safari share.
Directors of Epic Resources will consist of Frank Donis, Robert L. Cuff, S. Val
Donovan and Steve Pappajohn, who are the current directors of Epic and/or
Safari. Mr Donis will be president and CEO and Ms Michelle Koot will be the
secretary of Epic Resources.
The merger will permit Epic and Safari to combine, into one company, their oil
and gas interests in projects in Alberta, Washington and Turkey in which both
companies hold interests. Management anticipates that the merged company's
greater asset base, capitalization and liquidity will provide greater exposure to
potential investment opportunities and enhance the merged company's ability to
obtain necessary financing to develop its properties.

Looking very good with this merger. And the price seems to me consistent with a moving train.
