We haven't heard a peep out of Aware for some time now while other players seem to be active ... telechoice.com So what's going on? For a while Aware was making a lot of noise. Then I read some bad press about the CEO's aggressive posture at the xDSL meetings in late January and since then it's been quiet. CEO selling a substantial amount of shares (by itself it wouldn't seem like a big deal but ...). Low visibility at shows? I hope not. No news seems like bad news. With no manufacturing AWRE is either hoping to get acquired or make money from licensing. Seems to me the interested parties would be chipset manufacturerers but it's my understanding that the relationship with ADI is very tight and if that's true they don't need to buy them. We won't be seeing much licensing revenue unless we get some large-scale deployment - that seems to be fairly far out. Dead money?

<< look for Bill Gates and throw a pie in his face for me>> hhhahha...how could you have heard the exact conversation i was having as i neared the facility? i wonder about you, bill. talk about connectivity. i did talk with paradyne, who offered, with no provocation, taht aware seems to be in the midst of "having its knuckles rapped" based on their "jumping the gun" about announcing the alliance plans, and effectively stealing intel/msft/compaq thunder... as to concentric...i will go most likely tomorrow morning, but i did pick up some attractive shopping bags at connectix. i will make more inquiries when i return...about dsl/cable/and your isp, of course and not about shopping bags.
