ACRT's chart in Equivolume, an explanation follows.
geocities.com

I will repeat what I posted after Friday's close. If one were shorting this company without evidence of the most egregious duplicity, one should be panic stricken.

The pre open bid at 20 minutes before open is 14 1/4.

A "power box" is one in which both height and width increase substantially. NOTE yesterday's box....

The shape of each Equivolume box provides a picture of the supply and demand for the security during a specific trading period. Short and wide boxes (i.e., small change in price combined with heavy volume) tend to be seen at turning points, while tall and narrow boxes (i.e., large change combined with low volume) are more likely to be seen during continuing moves.
Especially important are boxes which penetrate old support or resistance levels, since it takes "power" to create a reliable penetration. A "power box" is one in which both height and width increase substantially. Lack of box width, due to light volume, puts the validity of a breakout in question.

The more volume in a top or bottom consolidation, the larger the ensuing move is likely to be. Volume is directly observable on an Equivolume chart by noting the overall width of the consolidation.

Good luck to all,

Stan

Davef,

Regarding 3248, I am sorry if you took this as a personal attack. Re-read the posts leading up to my statement. It appears to me that there was some light hearted conversation going on between the two Daves regarding identities. I just joined in with a casual comment. I really don't want to know who you are or anything more about you. In fact if I did not feel duty bound to be vigilant on this thread, I would rather not communicate with you again. Again, I am sorry if you took my post 3248 as some kind of lie or personal attack. It just ain't so.
