Since CSCO is buying NetSpeed for $260 mils in stcocks, what in your estimate would be the buyout price for WSTL?

36 million stocks at $15 (current price plus 10% premium) a share translates into $540 millios more then twice as expensive as NetSpeed, this IMO what makes the buyout problematic, unless the existing contracts will make it worth while.

Dave...Yes, Cisco & Nortel are members of UAWG.

<If this is the case, the Cisco/Netspeed deal and Nortel's announcement is a fly in the ointment with regard to UAWG. Unless I'm mistaken, Nortel's not part of that group (I don't think Cisco is either) and their 1-Meg Modem, which I guess is their DSL-Lite, is proprietary. Remember the Aware PR regarding MSFT/INTC/CPQ was for splitterless DSL-lite only. >
