Mohan,

no indictment on DellHeads at all. Not having technical background myself and not employed in the tech arena, I often rely on SI posters to give me leads on recent technical developments and investment analysis. Compared to a thread like LOR or WIND, you must agree that DELL posters are like a bunch of pre-schoolers. By the way, I did short DELL yesterday, after reading no reason why it shouldn't tumble from here.

Back to China, one more thing that was very alarming was what appears to be a rise in crime rate. Taxi drivers all drove around in protective cages, a practice that is prevalent in GuangZhou for many years. Being the capital, there appears to be effort to curb (disallow) homeless, begging, unlicensed street vendors and other creative private sector jobs. I have to wonder how organized things may be when the flood of unemployed hit the streets in the next few months.

Mohan thanks for the Ottoman information. Also, the Sidby news.
All I have to do now is learn ancient and archaic Turkish.

It looks like our Asian investment cousin-thread is languishing for a bit. Lack of ideas? Lack of knowledge? Incredible what is happening in Tokyo at this moment. Can we unravel it all... the mystery of it.

My best,
