MM Stitch and all One other piece of info I picked up last evening. IAW a senior banking consultant with the Galileo Group: - loans outstanding amount to 170% of GNP or an astounding 17K per capita. Malaysia will be forced to go to the IMF eventually. This will be good in the long term since the IMF will ensure the 30% of the population, with a higher % of the wealth will be included in the economic formula without discrimination- (read Chinese -bt) This figure is truly amazing to me, since the great percentage of the population can't EARN this amount in TEN YEARS!
