OT Class action lawsuits-

Something I've been thinking about.
I was contemplating getting in on the IFMX lawsuit when they
blew up. I called the sharktank that was filing the action and
they Fed-exed me a big package of material. I thought about it and
decided that Class action lawsuits benefit only the sharks.

What if everyone contacted the sharks and asked to get in on the action, they would be swamped with requests for data and spend big
$$$ sending out info (every Fed-ex is $5). They also include a return
Fed-ex envelope to return it in. If everyone were to write a note saying "Thanks but I changed my mind" and include a phonebook or two in the return Fed-ex package they would get slammed.

By raising the costs to the lawfirms to press these cases there
may be a dis-incentative to continue the practice.

GB -

If you can cite even one instance in which a similar class action suit resulted in shareholders being compensated in any significant way, then I'll consider it.

Can anyone cite a case like that?

Tell us what, exactly, they did wrong, in your opinion!
