rd: How the hell are ya, I have only to say that e-mails like this> are going to be posted. I think its only appropiate we all get a taste of every shareholders views, remarks, and also da-bitchin side. ggggg Just a few notes from Mike> Well Homey...the 30th of this month marks 6 months since the Tempest was announced as available for shipment. Bet back on September 30th, we thought we would be mucho farther along in 6 months then we are now (maybe well into the IPO within the 6 months?). Much like back then....right now we strongly believe we will be mucho farther along in another 6 months. Maybe we will, or maybe we'll continue to struggle in a pre-orgasmic state for another 1/2 year. This investment has been plagued by anticipation for the past 2 years since we both set eyes on it. Smoke screen, bait-and-switch, fluff news releases...interspersed every few months with something truly substantial and long-lasting keeps us going. As well as leaks from HQ which sometimes pan out, and which sometimes just slowly disappear into the background. Thank goodness, as the minor items which kept our interest going and gave a few plenty to talk about before the coming of our savor...the tempest...were jettisoned, the savor actually came and is real. In about 18 days we start our 2nd 6 months. Wonder what can be stretched out over that period in agonizing slowness? Approval of underwriter, the terms & conditions of the IPO, actually declaring the 15 collocate sites are set up, trying to set up a few more then the 15, a definitive agreement with WCOM, a definitive agreement with another "big" partner, finalizing of evals & actual sales announcements to someone big...and I mean big/big? How many more overly optimistic predictions and announcements have to be scaled back when the real world just doesn't want to cooperate? Don't understand the folks who revel in the fact that nothing has happened at this point...some folks find a positive to anything. They take it as an indication that Franklin is moving slow and carefully which will cause the tree to bare more fruit (or some stupid analogy like that). I for one am more interested in the Blitzkrieg approach...move fast and hit hard. Speed is everything, what you can't get now, you isolate and mop up later, but move on to your next objective. Frank should have one clock on his wall. The time on it starts at September 30th, 1997 and only moves forward. How much time has gone by and how much has been accomplished? Every 24 hours that slips by without a major breakthrough is an opportunity for the competition to make its definitive break...and leave us where we have been, I minor supplier of hardware components & products in a big market dominated by major names. If that wall clock hits 8,760 hours and we aren't above 20...we're history. We're Beta in a VHS world. Now I feel better...after a lengthy "bitching" like that...something extremely positive is bound to hit the wire and make this a total waste of time. ggg Mike Believe me Mike is very long on FTel with holdings of 30k at 1.25 avg and 20k of FNet. I made sure of that .ggg He did sell 4k of FTel at 5.50 to buy 20k of FNet. can you say that? Temp' Tempest-BL Tempest-OL Tempest-CL
