ALYD is a NASDAQ NMS stock and thus automatically eligible to be margined. However, the ultimate decision is with your broker. If ALYD is not marginable at Schwab I'd make a big fuss and if they don't accede then get a new broker (gg).

Hi Plil Schwab will not margin that's the reason why I went to DLJ Direct, they will margin Alyd.
