I haven't been around for a while--I'm a disgusted ex-shareholder--but I thought I'd read a few posts on the old IOM thread this morning. I see nothing has changed in the last couple of months. KE still doesn't get it and the stock price is still in the toilet. In emerging areas like personal data storage, perception has a way of becoming reality. The perception seems to be that IOM is a fad, a one-product company that will never make it into the big leagues. KE, I see, hasn't done shit to change the way the investment community sees IOM. I was tempted a few days ago to buy a few more shares, but after checking things out this morning, I've decided not to. I think this quarter will be about what the analysts expect, there will still be serious doubts about the long-term viability of the company, KE won't do anything to counteract the problem, the P/E will shrink to between 10-15 by the second half of the year because people will be worried about competition (Sony, etc.), IOM will probably make around $.50, and the stock will still be between $7-8 at year end. At that's the optimistic view. For those of you who might flame me, don't bother. I don't care how many Zips IOM sells--apparently neither does investment community and why should they, IOM doesn't care enough to even put out a press release now and then. You shouldn't either, because it won't make any different. IOM won't go anywhere until people perceive the company differently and that won't happen as long as KE is still running the show.
