Effect of split on investor psychology.
I wonder if there is any evidence that the split will cause the share
price to go up? It seems to me that its the other way around. Investors bid up the prices before the split in anticipation and
sell the day it splits.
HAppened to cpq, helx, amat and now dell. Will be interesting if it also happens to aol(which unlike the companies mentioned above hardly
has any earnings).
