<< I wonder how much of the panic selling is institutional, and how much is individual.

Institutional holding in this stock has never been high. Somebody posted about one week ago said around 26%. I think it is very possible that most of them have already bailed out. And a lot of individual momentum players also left. Actually, I am one of them. I played on both sides and made several k's. But this time I got caught at $26.5 long. I will probably have to bail out soon. If $22 breaks, then 20 has a good support.

I think the CEO of THQI should come out and say something, or at least a press release to say their 1st quarter earning will be on target, after all only 3 weeks left for this quarter. I think the share holders deserve this.

Good luck

I think some investors think that THQI now loses a year in that it will be next year this time that investors will be able to anticipate a resumption of the predictable growth in revenues and earnings. In the past several years I believe that there has been a decline every March with a steady increase in share price starting approximately April 1. This should have been the case this year (perhaps without a first quarter decline) but looking ahead to March 1999, who believes that there will not be a decline after the announcement of fourth quarter earnings the last Xmas with WCW driving success?

This creates a problem for investors. Who will be the last one to sell after the great earnings are announced? Is it safe to wait until earnings are announced? etc. etc. I still think that once the bottom is reached, the rest of 1999 will be an up year for this stock and more than likely I will be back in the stock. But I think it does give investors a pause because it is not the safe and predictable growth situation it was before.

Let's hope the longs don't get hurt more than they already have between now and April 1 because I have a good feeling about the stock the rest of the year. But I don't think that $45 is in the cards this year. Next year will IMO be a very good year for investors in this stock.

Perhaps Farrell will make some moves that restores the straight-line growth earlier than 2nd or 3rd quarter 1999. That is his challenge. I imagine that many on this thread believe that he is more than likely going to achieve this. Once he does, the whole outlook will change in a very positive way. But for now, it is a confusing situation and the market doesn't like confusion.

some Institutional trading.
I am still long in this one. Plan to add some more at 23+.

Good luck, and Long live "LONG"
