You are reinforcing the point that I am trying to make here! I was
tremendously bullish on APM a year ago. It looked as if Crisman was
a genius who had taken a nothing little spin-off and turned it into the golden goose. Throwing my usual caution to the wind, I invested
very heavily in this company and persuaded my friends, relatives,
some business associates and even my doctor to invest in this "sure
thing" Virtually all of us on this thread were true believers, once
the street woke up and smelled the coffee, this stock was headed
for the troposphere, or so we thought.
We thought that the companies silence was just genius Crismans'
idiosyncracy. Everything you guys are commenting on recently,
we hashed and rehashed over and over last year.
Now let me tell you what the reality was.
Crisman and APM was and is nothing more than a flash-in-the-pan!
He saw an opportunity to fill a niche that briefly existed when other
companies were ramping up to the new technologies MR, he stayed
with TFI and sold the hell out of them. But the niche has evaporated
leaving APM desperately trying to revamp at a time when their cash
is rapidly being depleted and demand for the technology is very weak
when and if they do get their s--t in gear.
We discounted the few analysts who saw this coming, and the short
sellers who saw what was happening and profited handsomely.
I don't know you, but I hate to see anyone get sucked into this
pit. I am not an idiot or a loser. I have raised 4 kids and still
done well enough to retire at 41.
My advise to anyone reading this is to look around and find something
better than this stinking fish to invest your money in.

Good Luck,
Sean

I'm still here Dave. But I don't have any more insight then I did last time I posted. There has been nothing going on with APM except the continued overall deterioration of the HDD sector. It was sad for me to see APM hold up after its disasterous announcement. Freaking company cant even die right. I closed my short for a good long while when it was bobbing around 12, just before it took that little technical pop. Went short again last week.. or was it the week before. So obviously I haven't given up on this piece of junk. Hoping to cash in on some HDD pre announcements. And on the way off chance that these IBM buys WDC rumors come true it would be a death blow to APM.
