David - it will be interesting to see whether the new areas of kimberlites come up with any surprises, like diamonds of buttercup deep orange or whatever.

David, I agree, the % being spread is high, even at half the quality rumoured will move Ashton into the billion dollar club. Why hasen't the stock moved? People are more educated today re diamonds and mining stocks. The moment that Ashton confims Quality, the stock will go nuts if it is at 20% gem quality or higher. You, I and a few others know what we heard and I have heard this for a long time but am still cautious. The reason I don't put every cent into this is that the sample is way too small and because Ashton has yet too make a statement is that if the stock goes up due to a gem quality of high significance and then in Oct 98 they announce the 500t sampling and the gem quality is lower, the market would not take that too easily and Ashton would have lost its anticipated value. The way it is now, is probably the best way as the stock is so cheap and won't never reach a market cap. due to the gem quality we heard until it is confirmed by Ashton. Therefore, for the people that like risk, it becomes your call. I have a huge position in this and can increase it further but am just watching for now and nibble in every once in awhile. The higher the risk the higher the reward. Works the other way too.

regards
Frank
