Kevin: Every now and then the market separates the wheat from the chaff. This may or not be an old-fashioned shake-out but whether it is or not...it may well have that effect and sluice out Level 3's fair-weather friends. For those of us fortunate enough to have invested in MFS, that was also a wild ride but if you hung in until the buzzer (bull-riding analogy) an investor could have made between 6-8 times his investment from 1993 to 1996. Past may not be prologue, but it is a hell of a lot better than the complete unknown. Walter C.
