how the hell can you "cook the books" accidentally????? If the books were cooked the person responsible would be up the proverbial creek...Management is responsible for ensuring that financial information pertaining to the company and conveyed to the investing public is accurate. If PINO or GREENLAW "cooked the books" you may as well write the entire company off...If some other (non top management) insider "cooked the books" and PINO/GREENLAW recklessly relied upon that information and passed it on to the investing public as "accurate", (i.e. recklessly ratified it) the situation, IMO, would not be much better. These would be the absolute worst scenarios. Just my 2 cents worth... The question arises: what was the motivation for "cooking the books"?? Was is to inflate the financial position of the company so that the stock price would appreciate and insiders could sell? To my knowledge PINO has not sold any shares (I have not confirmed this). What top management did sell shares? Were they in a position to "cook the books"??
