ALYD makes CBS Marketwatch:

Shares in Alydaar Software (ALYD) added 1 1/16 to 17 3/4 as investors anticipated the Year 2000 company's first profitable quarter, said Otto Grote, analyst at New York City's Derby Securities. The company, which lost a total of 51 cents per share in the first three quarters of last year, is set to announce results next week. "The company is emerging out of its start-up phase," added Grote, who sees Alydaar sales expanding 50 percent sequentially during the current year. West Charlotte, N.C.-based Alydaar has indicated it booked $6.5 million in fourth-quarter sales, a 283 percent increase over the third-quarter level.
