I honestly wish I could tell you all of the details on this one. I have read this in several Reports. While I can not put my hands on one right now, I did confirm that I did not make an error reading the report. Some one else read it to.

I don't know exactly what purpous this channel serves, weather boxes are configured there or even where it is.

What I do know is that 10-20% of their sales are channel based.
I know this is a flakey responce, but as the stock falls appart, <grin> I think this will be talked about more.

The channel may simply be a configuration buffer. When you have to build 30-40,000 PC's a day, you need a buffer for the slow order days.
