Yes it's true...Compaq has had this K6-233 notebook on shelves for a while now...right next to the MediaGX-200MMX based notebook.

Also, check this out, Compaq slashing prices. Don't see any K6 based computers there...just Intel based ones mainly in the business sector. Deskpros, Workstations etc.

Yes, Compaq has several K-6 based notebooks on the market, has had for some time now.

Yes - I recall that Compaq announced in January that they would introduce a K6 (0.25 micron process) in a notebook computer.

At the same time they announced a Cyrix MediaGX notebook computer as well - at a fairly low price.
