We're now at 21 7/8 bid. Unfortunately, we're not likely to garner support from IBD investors any time soon because this action is going to sink the RS ratings even if the EPS ratings are high. Really bad timing.

The "domino effect" idea makes some sense--effectively a self-fulfilling prophecy (people believe that support levels are meaningful _for the circumstances in question,_ and thus they are.) But with so many competing theories of technical analysis, and people using different indicators and attaching different significance to them, with no real stretches of time to have solidified particular "support levels," and all this being complicated by the special fundamental situation of the kind facing THQI...I'm still hard pressed to see this as not being swamped by other (non-fundamental) forces.

Apologies to the thread if this sounds like a distracting sidebar on technical analysis from a novice. :)
