Is the lost of WCW license the only bad news or something bigger is coming? I mean the reaction just don't make sense. Two days ago THQI is ready to break $33. And now we lost 35% of its value for something which won't affect THQI for the next 15 months! BTW, if WS really want THQI to lost 39% of its value, then we shall see $20.10 soon.

This stock p/e is now 16.3, their 5-yearl range is 11-40. So now is close to their 5-year low. I think as long as they don't miss March quarter earning, the price will come back at least to $26 or so. However, the trick is: what is the consensus estimate? From First call's 36 cents to Motley Fool's 18 cents. I am confused.

Don:

I sold this stock for technical reasons. Specifically, it has broken its 50 day moving average. I, too, think the news yesterday wasn't bad enough to warrant the sell-off, but the market apparently doesn't agree with me. I'm not going to fight the market. Like it or not there are many traders who make their trades based on TA. That's why I am a capitulated bull.

Wow Don, you are good at shorting, i'm
really suprized you didn't jump in. This
board is a gold mine for shorts<G> i just
closed another position myself.

The real issue here is why the CEO didn't
renew the license.imo,He should of been building
this company, buying distribution companys, buying
GOOD companys, not the software company that made
Pax. He's got a few million to spend, that's chump change
in this business. He put all his eggs in a basket, now
the fox has taken the eggs, and the hen house to.
You follow this industry as closely as i do, heck
we both play the games these companys produce, we know
this industry. You can't be a one hit wonder anymore, and
you don't lose licenses. They are money in the bank, you can
always sell them if you NEED to.
This company has been living off the crumbs that other
companys fed them. I wouldn't be a bit suprized if ERTS
wanted to buy them, CEO said no, ERTS played hard ball.
I'm looking at TTWO, thank goodness there's no SI
board,Yahoo, etc. They have been buying distribution companys,
just bought BMG today and are making N64 titles. They
also make great PC Games, Black Daliaha was just released,
very good game, lot's of positive feedback on Usenet. I haven't
bought yet, but i'm a watching closely.
