Bernie, Speaking of signals, did NASDAQ change some display rules or have the MMs been unusually busy today? I just had a chance to look at the tape and there are more bid/ask changes than trades. I was particular struck by 4 bid/ask quotes that hit the tape simultaneously at 14:24:10. There were two ask prices (16 & 16 1/8) and two bid prices (15 3/8 and 15 7/8). I haven't seen a 3/4 point spread in LGND for many years. The wide spread quickly disappeared, but how does a bid price of 15 3/8 hit the tape at the same time as an ask price of 16 1/8?
