It will take several hours to put the whole story together but
her in a nutshell is what I expect over next 12 mos.

Trading range 53-77 for 5 months with 53 and 77 being interday
extremes for only several hours. Stock staying between 61 and 69
for over half the time and ending up in mid-August in that range.

Then an uptrend to around 95 by yearend 1998.

Subsequent to that, I expect about 30 percent year over year growth
for several years.

There is a rationale and assumptions upon which this scenario is based. There is a thumbnail sketch of what I think FWIW.

Thoughts on ORCL database server paradigm with thin client architecture - lifted from Yahoo DELL board

ORCL pushes thin client paradigm. All processing done on server using ORCL database
server software. Clients are network
computers or low end sub-$1000 desktop PC's. This is bad news for DELL. DELL makes
mid to high end desktop PC's. These are not cost
effective for client server use. By your analogy, why did not recent gain in Internet stocks
like YHOO and AMZN help DELL ? They did
not help DELL because only a cheap computer is required to access the Internet. ORCL
earnings will not help DELL because only a
cheap computer is needed to be a client for ORCL server software. ORCL servers tend to
be IBM mainframe or SUN server so DELL
server business will not be helped. Prepare for massive drop in DELL share price
tomorrow.
