Lonny, The link below contains a description of various technical indicators including stochastics. iqc.com The link below has a good tutorial and definitions of indicators as well. e-analytics.com By the way, the stochastic came very close to giving a buy signal today because the %K almost crossed over the %D. Please note that I don't think it's a good idea to rely exclusively on stochastics. They work better when used in conjunction with other technical indicators, and especially when the other indicators confirm the signal given by the stochastic.
