Doug, Your question is a good one, though it doesn't really apply to Genzl as they already have FDA approval. But, yes, you need somebody who knows how the federal machinery works. That is one of many reasons why I like partnerships with large drug companies. The FDA may not even allow Crazy Bob's Biotech and Bagels Co. through the door, but when they partner with a Pfizer, they get the ear of the right people at the govt. This is very important in mutual funds, too. If you don't have a former SEC staffer carrying your papers around to his buddies, the approval of your prospectus takes much longer and you get many more questions. MB
