Incidentally, the Protestant and Catholic churches out here in California are filled with homosexual worshippers, and there are gay priests and ministers, and at least one gay archbishop. Are you saying that these people simply believe they are Christians, but they are not? Who decides?

In the end, God decides. Meanwhile, I believe that for me and my religion, which is Christianity as III believe it, does not now, and will not ever "support", encourage, or otherwise condone sexual immorality as specified in the Bible as I read it.

That said, what I believe should matter little to all the "Christian" gays out there in California or anywhere. Their religion is between them and God, period. If they are comfortable with their lifestyle, including whatever sexual depravities they choose to include in that lifestyle, then hey, all I can say is good luck.

The Bible is quite clear that not all who say they are Christians, really are:

Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity

I'm not going to pass judgement on homosexuals, because I'm not the final judge. I'm simply saying that I find no support for a homosexual lifestyle in the Bible; quite the opposite. Jesus says in Luke ch. 21, verse 35, For as a snare shall it come to pass on them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye many be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

That's all I can say: Watch. I'm not saying anything about child molestation or a weakness for bank robbery being related to homosexuality. I'm simply saying that a person can rationalize anything they want to in their mind. After all, did not Hitler deceive the German people into supporting him and his group of thugs?

so I realize that there is much physical evidence that many events described in the Bible occurred. Thanks for giving the Bible at least some credit. But be careful, because as I said yesterday, a belief in God is entirely by a God-given faith -- You might think that while Jesus was on this earth, performing THOUSANDS of miracles, healing people's life-long diseases instantly, that witnesses would have believed he was the Son of God-- Not so. Many hated him all the more for it.
