Company Press Release

Medinah Energy Inc. Announces That Vice President of
Mining and Exploration, Paul Jones, Along With His Team of
Geologists and Mining Specialists Will Commence Field
Testing and Bulk Sampling of the Santiago Gold Properties in
Chile

LAKE ELSINORE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 12, 1998

Vice President Jones reports,

''The primary thrust of our project will be to sample and test an
expansive area of placer ground
to confirm its reported commercial gold values. Based upon positive
results, production will
begin as soon as possible. In addition, the team will evaluate nearby
lode claims to determine if
they may be targets for diamond drilling. The duration of the project
will depend upon the results
of the testing program. However, the placer persists for many kilometers
and has historically
yielded significant amounts of gold. I am optimistic that our efforts
will determine that the
properties can be profitably mined.''

These placer grounds are expected to contain in excess of one hundred
million cubic meters of
material grading on average over one gram of gold per cubic meter.
Assisting Paul Jones on this
project is Donald Jung, Mining Engineer, and Steven Davis, as consultant
directing the field lab
placer sampling.
