1st quarter earnings will not make this better and the case can be made that it will only make things worse. We will blow out the earnings estimates for 1st quarter big time -- that will not be the problem -- the problem will be that at least 60% and as much as 80% of those earnings will be WCW related -- Nitro and NWO. Look at how the market is reacting when it thinks WCW is 39% of our earnings -- how will 60% to 80% in 1st quarter help no matter how high we blow past the estimates? Our first and perhaps only chance to crawl out of the trash heap will be when Quest64 is released in the second quarter -- I am long THQ -- bought it in the $7's and trying to avoid margin calls -- but get off the WCW thing -- IT IS NON-RECURRING -- no matter what we think -- that's how the street sees it-- We have to show growing earnings while we also show WCW as shrinking as a percent of those earnings -- period. This is a great company that will recover -- but don't plan on 1st quarter earnings doing anything to get us there no matter how good they are -- they come from the wrong place -- 2nd quarter may well make or break this company -- in terms of stock price anyway. <<IMO if there are still shorts trading on this news, they will cover today or tomorrow. I think they already covered. However, they will initiate new short position and cover in the same day. And use the margin to short in the morning, and cover in the afternoon, don't even have to pay margin interest, and can gain as much as 20%. What a deal!!

Probably so.My point was the reaction based on the interpretation of that News.It just doesn't make sense.I know the old saying that "Bears make money and so do Bulls but Pigs never do" and neither do the sheep ie those that follow the Herd rather than base their actions on Logic.I bought at 6 1/2 so its no big deal to me.I have never met a person who could consistently pick the exact tops and bottoms so meanwhile I guess we can leave it to the kids/sheep who follow the Herd and think they can.
