Ditto.

Consider also that with a Disney partnership to provide content, other content providers are sure to be interested.

A portable DVD player could be the fulcrum that leverages DVD into a WHAM [World Hemisphere Assured Market]. Certainly the Japanese electronics giants will be interested and will be trying to promote their own cheaper, less functional versions. A select few could be contracted to manufacture their own branded Apple designed device. However, this is pure speculation without a shred of reality to back it up.

We'll just... eh... have to wait and see what Apple is making. It could be a new paradigm, or it could be another link in the Apple III, IIGS, Lisa, Newton/eMate chain of events that has squandered away Apple's fortune. Considering that Disney has some collaborations going on with Apple, I'm inclined to think very positive.

Woah! AAPL to 27 like a rocket before close. See! Told you. I'm an idiot.

Sippin' cider,
