Maybe someone can set me straight then.......

I revisited the level 3 website and they say that they:

have est. $3 billion cash after sale of CE stake------right or wrong?

have a number of subsidiaries including:

a) Level 3 Communications LLC (as opposed to the parent designation of Level 3 INC.-----------this sub is the IP network builder
b) PKS Info------------------------------------this sub is the computer outsorce biz which must have some revenue?
c) CTEX companies-----------------------48.5% of RCNC, CTCO, CABL
d) Kiewit Coal Properties----------------any revenue there?
e) minor interests in some start up companies---

They claim $652 million in revenue in 1996. Where did that derive from and where did it go?

Would appreciate any info...the more I read company info and these message board, the more confused I get.

Thanks

Bob

Does Level 3 have all the right of ways negotiated and paid for already?

IPO or spin off?

Will the stock split upon offering? I've heard that rumor on this thread.

End to end IP network (meaning local). The local end is where the real black hole of investment is.
MCI was in 20 cities (not ubiquitous either) for what? $1.7 billion.

If the share price comes down with the offering and some plans are made public I'm looking to buy in but too many ifs and what ifs right now.

Come on convince me!
