Well, I guess I understand your sentiments, but this price rise and volume increase have a lot more going than shorts just getting an irrational exuberance to suddenly cover for no apparent reason. IMHO re-shorting at this level will just end up being a brutal experience in six months. Perhaps, when this stock reaches higher price levels, breaking through, say, $8 and then $12 a short world be temporarily worthwhile on consolidation and new basing. Because of the existing short interest, IMHO I don't think fonx will go below $5 again because shorts will continue to cover on dips when and if they occur, like yesterday. Justin, there have been some large blocks of stock bought recently, and I don't think that all of it is short covering. I agree, there is significant resistance at $6 which is probably profit taking and short speculation. But I don't think this will last forever. The fundamental picture of fonix has changed and indications are that it will continue to change for the better. We here in the US in general just don't appreciate the size and importance of Siemens in the technology world marketplace. BTW, many people see Intel as being in a quandary about processing speed vs the question of what's the next killer ap. After processor speed reaches above 300mhz and bus speed is doubled or better (as it will later this summer), the "so what?" question IMHO comes clearer, e.g. so what that I can process words or spread sheets at ever faster speeds? So video processing gets some interest. But my sense is that the next killer ap is VR and ASR. And because fonix is chipbased as well as software based it is a natural for the next Intel killer ap. Not to speak of the future of their neural net patents. All of this is, of course, IMHO. Best wishes, Ed
