with one week before expiration...how can one tell how much intrinsic value it has and how much of it is time value? The stock price closed at $29 (it was at 27.5 when I bought them

I'm not Michael or Doug, but I can tell you that an out-of-money
option by definition has zero intrinsic value (which is how much
an option is in the money by). E.g., if the stock that you have
the put contracts on went to $25, they would have $2.5/contract
intrinsic value.

I don't know how much your puts are worth, a good quote site is
cboe.com .

Good luck with your trade.

Zach

Hi Michael, Zach: I'm still holding my ORCL Mar27.5 puts.....

looks like they might be expiring worthless. Oh well, win some,

lose some. But since Friday will be triple-witching, there's still

a chance that I may get out with some since ORCL is at 28 1/2.
