Bill... I am off in the deep end of speculating now...
so take this with a grain of salt on top of a little food for thought <g>

I do remember the figure $500,000 generated on the deal... is that right? anyone want to correct this figure?

I don't know the exact details of the REG S deal, so lets just play pretend for a minute. Lets say CVIA did the Reg S deal $50 million shares in return for the $500k. That puts an average cost of .01 per share.

So the Direct sale of 50 million shares at an average of .016 isnt to shabby of a return $800,000 on a $500,000 investment in 40 or 50 days... I don't know about you but this is one H*ll of a return in my opinion... hope that answers your question about who would be selling at these levels.

Maybe this Reg S group decided not to short the stock... simply because they see the support backing CVIA and they decided to go with a sure thing as opposed to gambling on shorting the shares.... or better yet maybe Jack wrote a clause in the contract.. forbidding shorting.

All this is just my opinion, and hypothetical speculation.

Like I said before I can t recall ever seeing a stock reacting in such a fashion as CVIA has been...
