Well, they probably do plan to do acquisitions...these things take time. Keep in mind their market cap just doubled in the last few weeks. But the question of WHEN they plan to start doing acqs is still valid. A valid proxy for this question is "WHEN will you move to a national securities exchange". (The bulletin board doesn't count as a national exchange does it?)

Was poking around Kiewit's November 10Q filing on the SEC site and came across this:

The Diversified Group probably will not seek to list its stock for public trading on a national securities exchange until it raises capital through a public equity offering or desires to have a listed equity security available for acquisitions.
