Been a while since I weighed in with my opinion, so here it goes...and no, I have NOT just gotten off the phone with CCSI's CEO...the following are my thoughts, my own research, some of which has already appeared here or on other forums, and information I've gathered from fellow investors...believe it, discard it, or whatever...I'm just "putting it out here"...

It's my impression that over the past several months, CCSI has received multiple offers from large multinational companies, for a comprehensive distributorship alliance covering a number of applications for CCSI's technology. We are talking about more than just the one FDA approved application for biliruben testing of infants. The numbers involved in the proposals are substantial, e.g. they would generate revenues that would justify a higher stock price. Whether CCSI is prepared to make an announcement later today, tomorrow, next week, or next month, I haven't a clue. The bottom line is, however, that when announced, it's my opinion that the revenues will be substantial as will the impact on CCSI's share price. Worrying about the size of the market for the one FDA approved application is irrelevant because the companies who have submitted their proposals, have already indicated what they think, what they are willing to commit to, and that's really all that matters.

CCSI has a number of shareholders who have seen their investment double, triple, etc. over the past few months alone. Some of those shareholders have been around a long time, and others came in late in 1997 following the FDA approval. Several times since January 1st of this year, some of those shareholders have elected to take profits which are substantial; of the cases I'm aware of, the decision to sell had nothing to do with CCSI, but for personal reasons or financial planning. It is my belief that part of the selling earlier today was a long term investor taking profits for reasons that had nothing to do with CCSI.

CCSI also has a very low float, and a very high short interest. If you just look at the chart and look at the financials, e.g. revenues, etc., it is a short. But if you take the time to research further to see what they've been trying to do the past several months, there's more to it. Anyone who is short, unless they've been sleeping on a NY subway, has to realize that "some deal" is in the works. On the assumption that they don't have insider knowledge, they are taking the bet that the "deal" won't amount to much. What that position is based on, escapes me. I've talked to folks who have followed the company for a long time (like mutual fund managers--one of whom owns over a million shares of CCSI), and their opinions are quite to the contrary. The shorts are in from 15-18 pre-split. They are taking a very big gamble.

Over the past few weeks there has been an attempt by someone to put out false information on CCSI. And no, I'm not necessarily talking about the "research" report from Avalon by the "analyst" who never talked to CCSI except to request an investor packet. It has gone beyond that to the making of fraudulent telephone calls, fraudulently misrepresenting that they had talked to CCSI CEO's and that she made certain statements. At least one such call was directed to a very prominent mutual fund manager.

There has also been an effort by some in a short position, to drive down the price of the stock. Can't blame them for trying unless they are trying to manipulate the market price. Don't confuse the short sellers at work with bad news which does NOT exist.

Finally, and most important, too many here are focusing on posts by Skipard and others that news will be coming out at such and such time. If Skipard or others really knew, they wouldn't be so dumb as to post that insider information on SI. You are setting yourself up for an unnecessary disappointment if you think news is coming out on a certain day, and it doesn't. Skipard has done an incredible job of furnishing this thread information...give him and the rest of us a break. If he decides for whatever reason to say to grab a seat and get your popcorn ready for the short squeeze, and based on that you go out and buy another 2k shares, and there's no announcement the next day, well, what can I say.

Hopefully there will be an announcement soon. Execution of confidentiality agreements between CCSI and third parties, have precluded in the past, unfortunately, greater dissemination of information regarding pending negotiations. I believe it's reasonable to anticipate, however, given CCSI CEO's own timeline, that more information will be released shortly. With a vacuum of information, it's easy for the shorts to play; however, I remain of the belief that very significant news, meaning significant revenues, is in the
works.

I have more than a few shares of CCSI. I am not aware of any bad news, or even remotely bad news. Quite to the contrary, I have every reason to be optimistic. Relax. If the MM or shorts want to drive the price down for their own purposes, they are running out of time. Am I happy to see the recent price drop? Of course not, but I'm not running for cover or goin' bail because I happen to believe I have a reasonable understanding of what is transpiring.

This post really adds nothing new. Just to remind you that nothing has changed, that nothing bad has happened. As Skipard recently remarked, this is not a game...alot of money is on the line on both sides...traders and investors, short and long. Purpose of the post is to let you know where I stand and that I haven't seen anything to change my opinion...
