BPP, Pardon me if I repeat myself, but Minnesota has four distinct seasons: June, July, August and Winter. -g- When I lived there, I thought it had the most wonderful summers in the world, though I may be biased because bugs don't like to bite my nasty-tasting self. But the winters! Whoa, Nelly. -g- But the place is beautiful and the folks are terrific. MB

I agree, kid's education is number one consideration.
There are no frozen lakes here in San Diego (although
today is supposed to be cool, only mid 60's.)
