Does a penny stock like Mercury Finance show up on the P&F Charting radar ? Mercury Finance (MFN) is the stock which was HAMMERED at the beginning of 1997 for cooking their books. Their high was about $16.50 and they're now trading at $0.68. They have supposedly restated all of their financials with the SEC. They were apparently mentioned positively on one of the cable network financial programs about a week or two ago. They have a book value of .49 (meaning the company could be liquidated for .49/share), but they still have negative earnings and none of the analyst are following it anymore. Any way to track this one with P&F ?

I bought my car in 1991 with the profits from a penny stock called Jolt Cola (now Clearly Canadian) by buying it at .30 and selling it at $22 - very, very, very lucky. That was the only penny stock I've ever purchased. Is it time to buy another ?
