Over the past few years I've read several debates over assay methods here on SI. It seems to me that many individuals from these debates stated the Standard Fire Assay was what the industry deemed the standard process for arriving at metal numbers.

Today's announcement states "...Indicating Significant Standard Lead Fire Assay Results for Gold at the Company's Franklin Lake Property".

The Jan. 12th release concluded with "All results are by lead fire assay".

My guess is the Jan. 12th release numbers used an assay method with some modification to it, resulting in the higher numbers. Today's release indicates to me that Naxos utilized the boiler-plate standard process, the Standard Lead Fire Assay, the industry standard, the real thing (ok, ok) in presenting the new numbers to the mkt. I think this is a good thing.

C'mon, we're saying Standard Lead Fire Assay here. Isn't that what has needed to be stated? Any feedback appreciated, thanks.
