The buzz at the Interphex show was that BASEA didn't have much luck retaining key developers from the Consilium Flowstream team (other than contract development being done from India!) - could be a problem moving forward. The story was definitely not very cohesive as to how the two products will be positioned now and in the future...I'm surprised by this, since one would think that the Interphex show would have been the right time/place for announcing the plans...anyway, the wait and see continues...and here's the interim results for partial 4Q '97...too much red for my tastes...

<<Continuing to reflect accelerated new products investment and excluding results of its discontinued Government Technology Division operations, Base Ten reported a loss of $3.2 million or $0.39 per share on revenues of $0.3 million for the two-month November-December 1997 accounting "stub" period.

Results for the prior year quarter ended Jan. 31, 1997 showed a loss of $1.7 million or $0.22 per share on revenues of $0.3 million. >>
