FGII, MDCO, CDG, ESV, DO, EVI, and other greats are not in the OSX. The OSX has got some bigger, slower growing companies SLB, GLM (which is why I don't like that one), HAL, BHI, and land driller (which I don't like right now) NBR.

In addition, these stocks don't all peak and bottom at the same time. Service Co's, Deep water drillers, Land drillers, Boats, Fabrication companies do seem to move together in their subcategories, but even then they can be somewhat out of sync. I prefer to evaluate each company, taking into account the subindustry and industry movements.

Not only that, but options are for suckers. (I know I'll get some comments on that one!) I can hold on to my stock for as long as I want, and only lose (or gain) the value of the stock. Time is on my side when I own the stock.

007 : You are probably right on the money with 44 for RIG. I have buy orders in for 43 and 42, but I know I might have to end up getting it at 45 or 46. Time will tell, but regardless, I will own it within the next 3 trading days.
