Both Lucent Tech. and Fore systems (individualy) have spent a great deal of time at ACT Networks corporate office from March 9 though 13. Both players have dug deep into the companies technology, manufacturing operations and Engrg. departments. They spoke with the Exec. staff for hours on end. The employees of ACT Networks started the recent rumors that the company will be acquired. Of course these are the same employees who were sure Ascend would pick up ANET a few months back. You are right a announcement is short coming. I don't think it will be that ANET is sold; More likely that LU will buy product from ACT Networks. Just my opinion. << ACT_Watcher >>
