I love bottomfishing, more technically known as "value investing" in some of these tech stocks. I won't speak directly about either of the two companies you mentioned, but there are risks to such investing.
1. Often, bad gets worse.
2. Good only gets better, thus you have opportunity costs.

Ultimately, I think value investing is a great way to outperform themarket, if due diligence and proper research methods are employed.

Outside of some of thehighest quality executions in the marketplace and instantaneous, direct access to our trading desk, ideas, suggestions and market guidance are the other components a firm like ours offers our clients.

When bottom fishing, you need to wait and be patience....often what looks like a great price only goes lower. I usually employ the discipline of not buying beaten down stocks until they start to show some life for a third time, the three bounce theory. The first bounce is a sucker's bounce, a dead cat bounce, followed by sellers who were waiting for such a bounce. The second bounce might be the first round of traders/ day traers, who could care less about the stock but wanted to buy FINE when it hit 2,3 and sellat 5 and 3) true bottom fishers thinking that sellers mightbe out of theway now and that holders hold given current fact situation.

If you do your research on stock, but more importantly you wait for some action, volume, upticks to come in, you can do well.
