I believe I can say that that most of us simply believe we all have a right to believe whatever we want to believe; as long as the believing is done with respect and understanding for those about us. ...."and I didn't like it, no not one little bit.' One other observation....which may or may not be relevant....Turning the other cheek is more difficult...and therefore requiring of a great deal of finesse.
