Careful with shorting a stock that has too many shorts in it. Not that you wont eventually win out in the long run. Look at ESTI today as an example. Many, many shorts in ESTI 1/4 gains early escalted to full point gain mid-day, IMO from nervous nellies covering their shorts too quickly. Since shorts at many different levels short covering will gives ESTI little bumps up on way down. Also, the longer one holds on to a short, the more risk associated with a dramatic and good news release. I dont have a lot of experience shorting and would appreciate feedback about above.
