One thing that's obvious: this deal would not have even been on the drawing board 6 months ago -- scop market cap, each company's intent to beat the other, etc.

Since SCOP submarined in about Dec, the longest this could have been under consideration is about 2 months -- No? And it's unlikely that SEBL instantly decided SCOP was a good buy just when they were haveing trouble selling into enterprise accounts?

P.S. Melissa, I think you raise a lot of interesting points, but a word of caution -- you're way too emotionally involved with this stock IMHO. This may well be anoth PSFT, then again it may not.

I've been watching SCOP and wished I had bottom fished, thinking about PEGA, and had some VNTV which I sold too soon for a small profit. Right now CLFY looks to be the best buy to me.

SEBL has too much risk and will probably be available at nearly the same price or lower in 3-6 months when matters are clearer.
