Here's what I covered on the radio interview:

- Explanation of "embedded systems" & complexity of fix

- 25 billion embedded systems ... 5%-10% will fail ... don't know which ones

- Electrical engineers & trained plant floor personnel needed to fix ... not programmers

- Embedded systems causing HUGE increases in Y2K budget ... used Unilever tripling budget as example

- CEO's and even engineers don't know they have a problem. Used gas transmission plant ... "thank you for saving our company" as example.

- VULNERABILITY OF SUPPLY CHAIN ... i.e., auto industry ... 250,000 devices on plant floor vulnerable to Y2K.

- CHRYSLER: 972 tier 1 suppliers - followed by 100,000 tier 2 & 3 component & subcomponent suppliers ... further down ... tier 4 raw material suppliers (i.e. steelmakers).

ONE WEAK LINK AND SUPPLY CHAIN FAILS. ALL plants could shut down within 4 days, if brake valve supplier cannot provide part.

- TAVA the ONLY company addressing embedded systems on plant floor. CD & database key factor. Don't get too excited ... only had 2 minutes near end of interview to bring this in.

My review or radio interview ...

Though I've gotten very good feedback (which I appreciate from all of you) ... and they want me back next month ... this time, with no "call in's" to disrupt flow of thought ...

I was nervous and frustrated. SUCH a BIG message ... and not enough time. Commercials & "call in's" about different stocks were disconcerting ... but, after all it IS an investment show.

At least I know what to expect for the NEXT interview. Won't be so nervous next time around. (I'm very demanding of myself.)

Even though it's an "investment" show ... they want me to use it as a vehicle to EDUCATE the public about "embedded systems". Therefore, no "call in's" on NEXT interview so we can maximize time.

TAVA still is the only game in town ... in spite of people trying to make connections every time they see a PR release where "embedded systems" is mentioned. TAVA has every major vertical market locked up. LOL

P.S. I miss the warm fuzzies of just being a "girl". Being a Y2K and embedded systems advocate is draining - emotionally and physically.
